blik joins Apple, Pixar, Google, and Nike, among others, as a participant in the 2006 National Design Triennial. Held at the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York City, the exhibition runs from December 8, 2006 to July 29, 2007. From their press release, "the 'Triennial' seeks out and presents the most innovative American designs from the prior three years in a variety of fields."

The Triennial has given blik two side-by-side pass-through rooms in which to create a design representative of our innovation. In each room, we've decided to design for one wall, which sits above a wainscoating, and the ceiling. Below you can see some of our early concepts for these two walls.

Stay tuned to see our final concepts and photographs of the finished installation.
